Jurnal Computech & Bisnis (JCB), published by STMIK Mardira Indonesia, supports the dissemination of scholarly knowledge through open-access publishing. To promote the accessibility, distribution, and reuse of published research, JCB applies the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License to its articles, subject to the journal’s official licensing arrangements.

Under this license, users are permitted to share and adapt published articles for any purpose, including commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and source, a link to the license is provided, and any changes made are indicated.

1. License Terms

Articles published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License may be:

  • Shared: Copied and redistributed in any medium or format.
  • Adapted: Remixed, transformed, translated, or built upon for any purpose, including commercial purposes.

These permissions apply subject to the terms of the license.

Users must provide appropriate attribution, include a reference to the applicable license, and indicate whether changes have been made. Users must not imply that the original author(s), JCB, or STMIK Mardira Indonesia endorses the reuse or adaptation unless such endorsement has been expressly authorized.

2. Copyright Ownership

Unless otherwise specified in a separate written agreement, authors retain the copyright of their published articles.

The application of the CC BY 4.0 License does not, by itself, transfer copyright ownership to the journal or its publisher. Instead, it grants the public permission to use the licensed work under the terms of the license.

Authors grant JCB the publication rights necessary to publish, distribute, and make their articles available through the journal’s publishing platform and other authorized dissemination channels, in accordance with the journal’s Copyright Policy and applicable publication agreement.

3. Attribution Requirements

Anyone reusing an article published by JCB must provide appropriate credit to the original author(s) and the source of publication.

Attribution should include, where available:

  1. The name(s) of the author(s).
  2. The title of the article.
  3. The journal name: Jurnal Computech & Bisnis (JCB).
  4. The publication year and relevant bibliographic information.
  5. The article’s DOI or persistent link, where available.
  6. A reference or link to the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License.

4. Third-Party Materials

The CC BY 4.0 License applies to material covered by the license statement for the article. Third-party material included in an article may be subject to separate copyright or licensing terms.

Where material is excluded from the article’s license, the relevant credit line or rights statement should identify the exclusion where applicable. Users are responsible for obtaining any additional permission required to reuse material that is not covered by the article’s license.

5. Author Responsibilities

Authors are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights and permissions to publish the materials included in their manuscripts under the journal’s licensing arrangements.

Authors must appropriately identify third-party materials, comply with applicable licenses and permissions, and disclose any restrictions that may affect the reuse of content.

By submitting a manuscript to JCB, authors acknowledge that, if the manuscript is accepted and published under CC BY 4.0, the article will be made available for reuse according to the terms of that license.

6. Open Access and Licensing Transparency

JCB makes its published articles available through its official journal platform in accordance with its open-access and licensing policies.

The applicable license should be clearly identified on the journal’s website and on each published article’s webpage. The license information should also be included in the article file where practicable and should be consistent with the journal’s official licensing arrangements.

Readers and other users are encouraged to consult the license terms before reusing published content, particularly when an article contains third-party materials or specific rights statements.
