Manuscript Type
Informatics Management, Engineering and Information System Journal (IMEISJ) accepts original scholarly manuscripts that fall within the journal’s focus and scope. All submitted manuscripts must follow the official IMEISJ manuscript template and comply with the journal’s author guidelines.
IMEISJ accepts the following manuscript types:
1. Original Research Articles
Original research articles present the results of original studies in management information systems, software engineering, accounting information systems, business information systems, business intelligence, business informatics management, and artificial intelligence applications supporting management information systems.
These manuscripts must demonstrate a clear research problem, appropriate methodology, valid analysis, relevant findings, and a contribution to scientific knowledge or professional practice.
2. System Development and Evaluation Articles
These articles report the design, development, implementation, testing, or evaluation of information systems and software applications relevant to management, accounting, business processes, and organizational decision-making.
Manuscripts must provide a clear description of the research approach, system development process, evaluation methods, results, and the significance of the proposed solution. Descriptions of software implementation without adequate methodological explanation and evaluation may be considered insufficient for publication.
3. Applied Research Articles
Applied research articles present the application and evaluation of established methods, models, technologies, or analytical approaches to address problems in information systems management, business operations, accounting, and organizational decision-making.
The manuscripts must explain the relevance of the selected approach, the methods used, the results obtained, and the implications of the findings.
4. Review Articles
Review articles provide a structured and critical synthesis of relevant scientific literature within the journal’s scope. They should clearly describe the review objectives, literature search strategy, selection criteria, analytical approach, and synthesis of findings, as appropriate to the review methodology.
Review articles must offer a meaningful contribution beyond a descriptive summary of previously published studies.
